MACLA is pleased to announce its first Chicana/o Biennial , an exhibition and public forum conceived to take inventory of and invite reflection every two years on the continuosly emergent energy, critical edge, and aesthetic interventions within contemporary Chicano art.
Our aim is to open up a discussion about contemporary Chicano art in all of its various forms, aesthetics, and manifestations. This exhibition presents some of the most innovative work by Chicano artists today and features a range of artistic generations.
