Volunteer at MACLA
MACLA welcomes volunteers to participate in the delivery of Latino multidisciplinary art programs. To ensure a mutually satisfying and productive experience, MACLA is committed to promoting a work environment characterized by dignity, courtesy, and respect. MACLA seeks to offer volunteer opportunities regardless of race, color, national origin, citizenship, creed, disability, gender, sexual orientation, or socio-economic status.

Examples of some of the hands-on ways you can become involved with MACLA as a Volunteer include the following:
- Special Events - assist in setting up the gallery and theater and interacting with guests
- Delivery & Pick-up - of equipment, artworks, printing, visiting artists, etc.
- Gallery Preparation, Artwork Installation & Lighting Design - including handling, preparing, hanging artwork, painting, sanding & lighting installation
- Theater & Performance Programs - including, building sets, lighting & sound, house management, tickets
- Translations - English/Spanish translations for exhibition text, catalogues, and theater & performance presentations
- Video Documentation - of programs and special events
